From Elgar to Brahms

Join CofC Orchestra and conductor Yuriy Bekker in an exciting program, featuring CofC student Zachary Butler, playing selections from Elgar’s lush and romantic Cello Concerto. The program will also feature Charleston’s beloved trumpeter, Antonio Marti, in Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto. The program will culminate with the repertoire that the CofC Orchestra will take on tour to the Kennedy Center this winter, including the Brahms’ Academic Festival Overture, with its masterful balance of serious and light-hearted elements.

Performance is Monday, November 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sottile Theatre.
